Intro

THE STRONGEST PEOPLE ARE NOT THOSE THAT SHOW STRENGTH IN FRONT OF US
BUT THOSE THAT WIN BATTLES WE KNOW NOTHING ABOUT

Life.
What a simple yet complicated word.
We are all put on this earth for a purpose, some longer than others but all for a reason.
 My life is complicated.

I've had struggles and yet I overcome them just the same.

I'm a statistic of 1 in 25,000

32 years.
11,680 days.
280,320 minutes

That’s how long God has granted me thus far. I sometimes can’t believe this life is really mine. I have an amazing husband, a beautiful little girl, my dream job, and the best family & friends a girl could ask for. I also have lived with a medical anomaly my entire life.
Would you know it if you looked at me from the outside? Probably not.

My name is Chelsea Mullins, I was born in September of 1985 and have had over 50+ surgical procedures. I have missed countless days of school/work and  I complete multiple medical procedures day after day and week after week to make sure my body stays healthy.

“Healthy” has always been such a relative term. I can only remember a few times in my life when I actually felt, GOOD, felt like I had a hold of this life and was doing it!
Then something else is thrown at me and I do that too. This isn’t something that was given to me.
There was NOTHING my parents could have done to prevent it and
there is NOTHING you can do to “cure” it.

This is my ‘Normal’. This is my life as a Cloaca patient.

As you read this, remember this is MY daily reality. It is not something that I want to share, but I must.My life has been molded over many triumphs and also many struggles.
Some parts may be difficult to read, but please don’t stop.
 There's a beautiful story that's uncovered.
